The Jumping Hector Dolphin

For literacy, we were learning about new Zealand endangered animals and I chose the hector dolphin and we had to do a voice recording over the slide presentation. Have you ever learned about the hector dolphin or do you know any other new Zealand endangered animals?

Art

 

For art, since Matariki is coming up we did Matariki art but with printing, first, we had to do practise work and then we would have to put the stars backwards so when it prints it goes the right way. after we were done we had to make a frame out of paper and then glue it onto it. Have you ever made Matariki art before?

Area Perimeter and volume

For maths, we had to find out the expansion for the area, perimeter, and volume. Then we had to put it all on a slide and then blog it. we had to do this for our house, we are making a tiny cardboard house.  Have u ever made a tiny cardboard house?

Swinging Orangutans

 

For literacy, we had to make an informational report on Orangutans, and then we had to copy and paste it into Adobe spark and make a web page and put a lot of photos and stuff into it. This was a fun task to put onto Adobe spark. Have you ever seen an Orangutan?

Steam egg drop

For science, we had to get in a group of 5, and then we got a lot of materials and we had to make it so when we drop the egg from the mezzanine floor it wouldn't break. Only 2 made it so their egg didn't spatter. Our egg got crushed. Have you ever done an egg drop before?

Letter Home

For writing, we had to write a letter home to a loved one and acted like we were in the Gallipoli war with the ANZAC people. I did this letter to my Mum and acted like I was in the trenches. Have you ever heard about the Gallipoli war? 

Pirate ship problem

For maths, I and jasiah had to make a problem on a pirate ship so we got to make the ship on minecraft. this was a great task.
